Getting Grants

Interested in enlisting in NIH Boot Camp 2024? Register for an upcoming information session

UCI’s School of Medicine is accepting applications for its National Institutes of Health (NIH) Boot Camp. Interested faculty members are encouraged to attend an information session on January 10 at 12pm or January 29 at 9am.

Boot Camp mentees work with experienced NIH-funded faculty mentors and are provided support throughout the grant-writing process. Since 2017, 101 mentees from the College of Health Sciences and the Schools of Biological Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Social Ecology, and Social Sciences have participated in the program. This will be the 8th year of the program, which allows UCI faculty the best opportunity for success in their first NIH grant applications.
