UCI Center for Statistical Consulting

The Charlie Dunlop School of Biological Sciences has partnered with the ICTS Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Research, and Design (BERD) unit and the Center for Statistical Consulting (CSC) to provide pre-paid (“free”) statistical analysis services for your research projects. Anyone who has a Charlie Dunlop School of Biological Sciences affiliation, including faculty, post-docs, staff, and students, is eligible.

BERD and the CSC are led by Joni Ricks-Oddie, Ph.D., overseeing a team of statisticians and data analysts there to collaborate with you. The services they provide include the following:

· Database creation and management

· Statistical support and study design for grant submissions

· Statistical and design issues for new studies

· Statistical analysis of data and consultation

· Predictive modeling analytics and machine learning

· Development of clinical research protocols

· Manuscript writing and revision assistance

· Statistical programming and methodology workshop presentations

· Drop-in consultations
