UCI’s Office of Research has released calls for proposals for seed funding, bridge funding, and infrastructure support in recent years.
To sustain research projects that no longer have extramural funding, UCI’s Office of Research has a bridge funding program that provides one-time support to assist with re-establishing external funding. The Hellman Fellows Fund provides support for the research and creative activities of promising faculty at the Assistant Professor rank.
The School of Biological Sciences and School of Medicine releases a call for proposals to fund research projects that bring together faculty from the two schools to attack a common problem.
